The Opinel No. 6 Trekking is a versatile folding knife suitable for a wide variety of jobs. Its blade, due to the clip-point shape and smooth sharpening of the cutting edge, is able to easily cut through most types of products, fabrics and other materials.

The blade is made of steel marked Sandvik 12C27. Its main advantages are excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. And thanks to hardening to the level of 56-58 HRC, the blade of the Opinel No. 6 Trekking knife remains sharp for a long time, even when working with wood or other hard materials.

In the open and closed form, the blade is fixed with a Virobloc lock. This mechanism is extremely easy to operate and maintain, and is also distinguished by excellent resistance to pollution.

The wooden handle of the Opinel No. 6 Trekking knife made of hornbeam fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. Due to the use of this particular material, it does not heat up in summer and does not “cool” the palm in winter, as is often the case with knives with a metal handle. A coating of turquoise paint not only makes the knife bright and memorable, but also allows you to better protect the wooden handle from moisture.
