Each of us, at least once, but a knife came in handy during a hike, picnic or any other situation. And it would be very handy at such a moment to have a high-quality sharp knife on hand, with which you can cut a branch and peel vegetables. One of the most suitable examples of knives suitable for such situations is Opinel No. 8. This model, due to its small size and high quality workmanship, has gained immense popularity among many lovers of a variety of outdoor activities and just have a picnic or get out into nature for recreation.

However, the knife of this model is not only a highly effective universal tool, Opinel No. 8 can be a memorable gift that will come in handy in many everyday situations. Especially, in the presented version with a bubing handle.

Structurally, this model fully complies with the standard model Opinel No. 6 from the Tradition line. The blade is also made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, has been heat treated and has a hardness in the range of 57-58 HRC.

Perhaps the only difference is only the material and, accordingly, the color of the handle. It is made of bubing and has a brown color with multiple streaks of dark tones. The shape of the handle is also identical to the classic models and has a fishtail end.

Like other folding knives, Opinel No. 8 is equipped with a secure virobloc lock. This lock has a clutch design that prevents the blade from accidentally opening or closing, even if significant efforts are made to do so.
